Last July (2012) Bodywork Therapy’s Fitness Club put together a ladies only amateur dance show to raise money for charity and we were really please to raise £1,834. So we decided to do it again this year and were absolutely delighted to net £2,125. This was made up of a two evening dance and music show, where we displayed a number of dance routines plus we had a live vocalist (Rebecca Whitehead), this event was not made public as we are not professional performers or dancers and it was held in a private home, so all tickets were sold to family and friends of the performers only. It was so much fun, and the support from friends, family and Bodywork Therapy clients was amazing. Than you all.
Leading up to the main event, we also put on two male only Pole Fitness tasters, in total 17 guys (each paying £15 for charity) were shown exactly how challenging Pole Fitness is and proved to them that the pole is a piece of fitness equipment and it’s not just a ‘girlie’ thing :-)
